Driving question: What is energy and how do we use it on a daily basis?

Our Conservation Kids curriculum gets students thinking about what energy is and how they use it on a daily basis.  It explores ways we use energy in the sectors of electricity, home heating, and transportation, and encourages students to come up with personal or classroom energy-saving goals.


Kit includes: Light switch board, hand generators, mini freezers, wooden cars and bus, power plant energy cards, Go Easy on Energy book, and more.

NGSS Standards

3-5-ETS1-2 Engineering Design. Generate and compare multiple possible solutions to a problem based on how well each is likely to meet the criteria and constraints of the problem. 

K-2-ETS1-2 Engineering Design. Ask questions, make observations, and gather information about a situation people want to change to define a simple problem that can be solved through the development of a new or improved object or tool.
