VEEP/NHEEP Equipment Kits

We offer a wide variety of curriculum resource kits to lend to schools in Vermont and New Hampshire. These kits include all the equipment you need to support your energy and climate curriculum. If you are interested in reserving a kit, fill out the form below and we will get back to you to confirm availability within one week (and often sooner). Kits are loaned out on a first come, first serve basis, so reserve early to guarantee your dates.

We recommend that teachers go through a training before using our curricula and curriculum resource kits, and we can set up trainings to suit the needs of individual schools. However, these trainings are not always necessary.

    Transportation of kits: We offer two transportation options: You can either pick up (or return) the kits at the VEEP offices in Montpelier at no cost, or we can send them to most locations in Vermont (or have them picked up) via messenger service or VEEP educator for an additional $30 each way. Transportation in New Hampshire may be an additional fee. Not all Vermont locations are served by Green Mountain Messenger, our messenger service; we will brainstorm alternate transportation options with you if your school is a place that GMM does not go.

    Fee: We ask schools to pay a small fee for the use of our kits to help us to maintain and restock the kits, as well as a fee for transportation if you are not picking up or dropping off the kit in Montpelier. These fees can be waived if your school does not have a budget for materials.

    Lost and damaged items: All kits come with a detailed itemized list of included materials. Please let us know immediately if any items are missing. You are expected to do an inventory of the kit you’ve borrowed before returning it to VEEP. We will bill for lost and damaged items. The cost of replacing consumable materials (items meant to be used up, like modeling clay and index cards) is included in the kit maintenance fee.
